MKE Elite U17 is coming off of a strong AAU season in 2017 and is poised for another competitive summer of basketball. The kids are tough and well-disciplined in basketball, all have ball handling, shooting skills and play hard. Top level showings in 2017 make this team positioned to be an elite team in 2018. Colleges will be impressed with the athleticism of the players and basketball IQ.

MKE Elite U17’s won the AAU Championship this weekend by winning all games played in the AAU Championships in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Teams form Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois competed in the weekend tournament. MKE Elite was led by strong guard play and solid outside shooting. Dominating the defense boards and getting into fast break opportunities continue to be the strength of the MKE Elite team. Head Coach Ed Brozynski “ We did an excellent job of running the court when we had the opportunities, on offense we spread the court well and executed our offense.”

MKE Elite U17 continued its strong play at the NAYS Champions Tour ‘Move The Rock’ tournament in East Troy, Wisconsin. Finishing 1st in pool play and then working their way through bracket play into the Championship game MKE Elite displayed a complete game on offense as well as defense. The Championship game was highlighted by strong inside play by Cory Broncatti, Colton Dowd and Jack Hazod. Hazod was unstoppable on the inside and lead the team in scoring with 19 points, Sam Klopp (18 pts.) and John Drana (16 pts.) were hitting from long range and keep East Troy from getting any closer than 12 points in the second half. Head Coach Ed Brozynski “We played shorthanded all weekend, the boys showed what they are made of. Playing 5 games in 2 days with 5 players is extremely difficult. The kids showed a ton of effort and they were rewarded.”
